Perhapsery is a place to put thoughts that don’t belong anywhere else.
Most writing arrives with a job to do — make a case, teach a thing, arrive somewhere. This doesn’t. What gets published here is thinking in progress: half-formed, sometimes reversed a week later, occasionally abandoned in the middle because the idea turned out to be wrong.
Same head, different weather
What you’ll find
No schedule, no series, no categories to speak of. Posts appear when there’s something to say and run as long as that thing happens to be — four sentences some days, two thousand words on others. A bleak piece may sit next to a funny one. That isn’t an editorial failure; it’s the weather.
What it isn’t
Not essays, not a journal, not a diary, and not a linkblog. Nothing here is researched to the standard of writing meant to persuade, and nothing here should be read as a settled view — including the parts that sound settled.
How to read it
Lightly. The name is the instruction.
